Physical Fitness + Personal Trainer = Success

Physical Fitness + Personal Trainer = Success

Whether you are just beginning a new exercise routine or you are trying to kick your current fitness plan up a notch, a personal trainer can be a great way to improve the quality and longevity of your workouts. While the economy may not be booming, there are affordable trainers who will work with you on a sliding scale. Working on a personal trainer can be gentle on your pocketbook, while incredibly beneficial for your health!
Some of the benefits that you can experience from hiring a personal trainer are:
• Structure: A personal trainer will add structure to your workout and will help you stick to your fitness plans. Having someone to answer to who creates goals and expects results from you gives you a built-in motivation that you might otherwise not have.
• Monitoring: An effective personal trainer will also help monitor your body composition as you go through your training program. This is especially useful if weight loss and muscle building are your goals. The trainer will regularly measure and test your body fat and muscle mass, and this will help you adjust your fitness regime as needed.
• Cardio-Input: Your personal trainer can offer you the best prescription for the type of cardiovascular workout you need to achieve your fitness goals. If your goal is to shed extra pounds, the trainer will determine your target heart rate and adjust your workout to make sure you are hitting that target rate. The trainer will then set your aerobic activities up, and these could range from moderate swimming or walking to long-distance running.
• Goal-Setting: A qualified trainer will help you set realistic and achievable personal goals to which you can stick. The trainer will not put you on a crash diet and guarantee results in two weeks. Instead, he will help you meet your goals in a reasonable time frame that is healthy for your body.
• Record-Keeping: Your trainer will keep a record of your workouts. This way, you can look at how well you are doing, how soon you achieve your goals, and what it took to get to the pot of gold at the end of your fitness rainbow.
• Variety: Working out alone can often be a tedious exercise and that probably explains why so many people start an exercise regimen and quit it before they ever achieve their goals. Having a personal trainer work with you almost guarantees that you will add variety and even fun to your workout routine.

With effort, commitment and dedication, working out with a personal trainer can help you achieve your fitness goals. So long as you are willing to put in the time and rise to the demands of training, this kind of investment is worth your while. With these facts in mind, consider hiring someone to help you with your workout goals and succeed this time around!

    EAT BREAKFAST!!!!

    there is an old saying,

eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper

Big Breakfast, medium lunch small dinner

Breakfast= fruit, 3 eggs whites, 1 piece of whole wheat whole grain light toast, milk or orange juice, coffee if you want with skim milk and 1 splenda (best artificial sugar)

lunch= turkey sandwich with a very little bit of light mayo or mustard (russian dressing is out) lettuce tomato, pickles, all the veggies you want on it!, 1 piece of fiber filled fruits (apple , anything with a skin) or nuts

dinner- grilled or baked chicken, fish (can be very lightly breaded with lemon and pepper, if it is salmon you should go with cajun spice on it!), or turkey cutlet, on a salad with a non-creamy dressing (little or none of any dressing at all), one piece of whole wheat bread with margarine or light butter.

    Snacks= lowfat crackers with cheese
fiber filled foods ( granola bars light ones only!!), apples, nuts, etc.
carrots, celery, or peppers in lowfat dip

try to eat 2 or less snacks a day, at most 3

drink water and green tea (with 1 splenda or unsweetened)
you can crystal light to water

    staying hydrated speeds up metabolism

green tea and green tea supplements also speed up metabolism

excersize- 1 hour, intense cardio 6 days a week, strength or resistance training (3-5 days a week, don't work the same muscle group 2 days in a row), 1 day of low intensity cardio a week

good luck, don't try to lose the weight too fast, it will only cause loss of muscle and water, lose it slower and it will be all fat ( don't slow down wight loss on purpose though)

as for the abs and love handles- crunches, leg lifts, leglift-crunch, plank, buy a swiss excersize ball and find an article on how to use it, that should work your abs and muscles known as love handle obliques.

    Once again good luck!

Remember, you can do this, I'm rooting for ya!!!!

This is easy when you take it one step at a time because you can have some snacks and stuff and it works for life not just your goal, this will be your whole life eating plan with some treats mixed in every now and then after you meet the goal.

    1) Dental issues — if those, get them resolved soon or it can cause heart, liver, and kidney issues.

    2) Worms/parasites.

    3) Kidney Failure or Diabetes

Get her to the vet. If you have let her be sick for 3 months you are causing her possible irreversible harm every day you let go by, and it is going to cost you more to get her treated.

No. I've heard that you should avoid sports drinks if you aren't working out but if you are working out then you're all good. The electrolytes simply replace what you sweat out.

Then again, gatorade contains calories and water doesn't so if you're drinking a lot of it then it could add up over time.

nope, the only way to lose weight is to eat less and exercise more, weight loss pills are a national scam and a shame. PT Barnum had it right when he said "there's a sucker born every minute"

  • 19 July, 2009, 17:30

Cut out all fried foods and all sodas. No budging on this either. No fried foods and no sodas. Also do not eat after 7pm. Try and get him to at least walk for 30 minutes a day. make sure he drinks plenty of water and make sure he gets a good night rest every night. This should take about 30 – 40 lbs off of hime in around 60 days if he doesn't cheat.

Coffee has no weight loss value. The caffeine does help prevent diabetes type 2 and Parkinson's, so it's not bad for you, however it would be better to drink a lot of water to lose weight. You wouldn't be consuming empty calories and it would help satisfy hunger cravings.

Look under the diet and fitness section. There is all kinds of advice there about weight and diet.
Try exercise that makes you sweat for at least 20 minutes every day. Cut out the fast food, junk food. Eat fruit and veggies. Cut your portion of meat to the size of your hand palm for meals.

Do NOT take weight loss pills at that age because they are extremely dangerous. Obviously if it's been 2 months, you're doing something wrong. Eat healthy, exercise, plan things out.

Weight Watchers has a great program for nursing moms. I've lost the baby weight on WW twice, with no problems nursing. You get extra food because you're nursing, and that makes the program that much easier to follow.

Good for you for taking care of yourself while you're doing the best thing in the world for your baby!
